Hering's law eye

Witryna14 maj 2016 · My only concern is about the possibility of Hering law affecting my other eye. I did the phenylephrine test and it didn't unmask a latent ptosis. My right eye (the ptotic one) used to be really dry before surgery so I used eye drops. While the left eye doesn't seem to be dropping, now it feels quite dry compared to the other.

WitrynaHering's Law suggests the moving eye is driven in the same direction by both vergence and version signals, but the stationary eye receives equal and opposite vergence and version signals. An MP stimulus presented to the stationary eye is unambiguous with the depth sign concordant with the direction of the pursuit signal given by Hering's Law. Witryna1 Hering originally described the phenomenon of equal innervations for dependent extraocular eye muscles. 2 Walsh 3 was the first to describe Hering's law for eyelids, which is the compensatory ...

Hering's law of visual direction describes the perceived visual direction of a point relative to an observer. Because the eyes are horizontally apart in the head, by about 6cm, the visual scene is seen from slightly different point of view by each eye. Thus comes the question of where a point is perceived, relative to the observer, when seen with either eye alone or binocularly. In 1879 Ewald Hering stated … WitrynaHering's law of visual direction describes the perceived visual direction of a point relative to an observer.
