Web9 feb. 2024 · Marshall declared you have to run it into 4Ohm only which results into many dying MOSFET 100s (heat problem - burning out MOSFETS). There is NO WAY the amp can put out 100W. You have to run it into 8Ohm at least (minimum). 16Ohm is a better idea (4x12 Marshall 1960) putting out 25W LOUD watt. Web5 apr. 2014 · The MosFet 100 was made at a time when many thought valves were finished and we'd all have to use SS in the future... it was made as "pro standard", not bedroom fodder like the current SS Marshalls. My guitar tech has one set clean, and many an English blues jam has one "for the punters".
